Clann Hannon (Ó hAnnáin) is an ancient Irish Sept descended from the Celts who came to Ireland c. 500BC. Our ancestors eventually were found amongst the Érainn celts in Cos. Clare & Limerick, and among the Gaelic celts in Cos. Galway & Roscommon. The sept (clan) names include: O'Hannon, Hannon, Hannan, Hannen, Uá hAinnin, Ó hAnain and Ó hAnnáin. We are proud to be members of the Irish Septs Association, and we continue to promote our Irish clann, culture, heritage and origins - internationally - where our members are represented in 17 countries worldwide.
